Hassan is admitted in three common law jurisdictions: the United Kingdom (in 1999, as a Barrister-at-Law), Bangladesh (in 2002, as an Advocate), and Australia (in 2019, as a Solicitor).
Prior to joining Kingsford Lawyers, Hassan practised in Bangladesh as an Advocate for about 22 years, during which he conducted numerous litigations before the Supreme Court of Bangladesh. His practise encompassed a diverse range of cases, including judicial review, commercial and corporate matters, with specialisation in public law, corporate law, commercial law, arbitration law, and energy law. Furthermore, he possesses significant experience in both domestic and international arbitrations, including cases involving cross-border disputes.
In Australia, Hassan primarily focuses on different aspects of litigation, as well as commercial and corporate laws. Additionally, he has a strong interest in matters related to administrative and employment laws.
