Jasmina Hristovski

Jasmina was admitted into practice in Victoria but previously practiced as an overseas practitioner for 12 years predominantly in Banking and Finance Law. Jasmina now holds a broad professional interest in a variety of legal matters ranging from commercial law to family law and employment law matters and a range of other legal matters.

Jasmina assists clients regarding contracts and contractual disputes, in matters arising under the Australian Consumer Law, bankruptcy and insolvency matters, and alternative dispute resolution. Jasmina also assists clients in debt disputes and debt recovery, winding up proceedings and setting aside default judgments.

In the area of the family law, Jasmina assists clients in both parenting and property matters, whether resolved by consent or by recourse to litigation. Jasmina has been involved in complex parenting proceedings involving family violence and parental alienation.

Jasmina appears before the Fair Work Commission in a range of employment matters acting for both employees and employers. She also appears before the Magistrates Court and the Supreme Court of Victoria.

Jasmina enjoys interacting with clients and keeping them involved in their matter as much as possible beyond just obtaining their instructions. She is very passionate about eradicating family violence and wants to see a radical change in our criminal legislation sooner rather than later.
