Scott Challeen

Scott is focused primarily on criminal law and commercial law/litigation.

He attended the George Washington University in Washington D.C., receiving a B.A. in Political Science and Government with a minor in Economics in 2014. He received a Juris Doctor from Griffith University Law School in 2024.

Prior to entering the legal field, Scott worked in the aviation industry for a decade as a private aviation consultant in both the United States and Australia, helping make the world a smaller and more connected place for government, diplomatic, corporate, private and entertainment industry clientele. He also worked as a political consultant and a healthcare consultant in the United States, working on local, statewide and presidential electoral campaigns in Florida and Virginia, and on Affordable Care Act implementation. Scott started his career as a legislative intern in the United States Senate while attending undergraduate university, gaining an appreciation for how the law is crafted and how it tangibly impacts the lives and livelihoods of everyone.

Scott is originally from the United States. He moved to the Gold Coast from Miami, Florida, in 2021 with his wife, who grew up on the Gold Coast. They have one son, born in April 2025. In 2026 Scott attained his Australian citizenship.

Outside of work, Scott enjoys reading, particularly books about history, travelling, and spending time with family.
