Prior to pursuing his legal education, Cole held various finance and strategic roles across multiple industries in Canada, working closely with executive leadership, boards of directors, and external stakeholders. His experience encompasses financial planning and analysis, corporate strategy, financial modelling, risk management, contract negotiations, and mergers and acquisitions.

Throughout his career, Cole has contributed to significant commercial decisions, supported business expansion initiatives, and managed complex projects, developing a strong understanding of the financial, operational, and strategic considerations influencing business decisions.

Building upon this commercial foundation, Cole has gained practical legal experience in corporate and commercial law, including legal research, contract drafting and review, commercial transactions, and client advisory matters. Cole holds a Bachelor of Business Administration, specialising in Financial Analysis, from Mount Royal University in Calgary, Canada, and is currently in his final year of the Juris Doctor program at Bond University in Queensland, Australia.

Born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, Cole enjoys spending time with family and friends, exploring the outdoors, and seeking new adventures. Having played a variety of sports at different levels throughout his life, he now spends much of his free time playing golf and tennis. He also has a passion for travelling, having explored destinations across Africa, the British Virgin Islands, Europe, Canada, and the United States.

Cole has a strong interest in adventure and outdoor activities. He holds an Open Water Scuba Diving certification and an intermediate-level sailing certification, enjoys riding motorbikes, and is currently working towards obtaining his pilot’s licence.
