Prior to being admitted as a Solicitor, Charna has a range of qualifications that have shaped her skills and approach with an extensive amount of experience and knowledge as a Teacher, Sports and operated her own Business.
Since becoming a Solicitor, Charna has predominantly worked in Family Law, Domestic Violence and Property which remain her main interest along with Criminal and Traffic Law.
Her experience in Boutique Law firms not only included complex and straightforward Family Law matters but she has also worked on matters involving Wills & Estates, Employment Law, Commercial Law, Leasing and Enduring Power of Attorney.
Charna decided to become a family lawyer after spending over a decade as a teacher and her desire to continue advocating for children and families. With that in mind, Charna’s approach to assisting her clients is professional yet understanding, empathetic and she will provide you direct advice, along with competent representation as a lawyer.

Originally from Hawkes Bay, New Zealand, Charna first moved to Australia in 2008 then spent some time in NZ completing her LLB and has returned back to the Gold Coast in 2024.
In her spare time, Charna enjoys spending time with her family, attending her children’s sports or events, traveling, watching rugby league and rugby union.
