Victor practices heavily in Civil Litigation and Insolvency Law across all jurisdictions including the High Court, Supreme Court, Federal Court, Magistrates Court and County Court, in Victoria, South Australia, Queensland, Western Australia, New South Wales. Victor has vast experience in the resolution of disputes between individuals and/or corporations. He prides himself on his high attention to meticulous detail when representing his client, whether the plaintiff or defendant, before, during and after court hearings.

Victor is diligent and possesses substantial knowledge of corporate, insolvency and civil law and is known for his outside the box advice and the knowledge he is sought to provide to organisations and individuals on potential legal concerns in specific industries or within specific practices. He provides support to warn businesses when procedure might fall outside the rule of law and when legal concerns rise for directors and companies.

Victor is in high demand from his clients and is often engaged in mediations and consultations. He is respectful to both his clients and opposing parties and has exceptional written and verbal communication skills. His diligent and tough negotiator skills are well known by his clients who he provides consultation and mentoring to. Victor has acted for Plaintiff’s and victims involved in commercial aviation accidents which are subject to claims made under the Civil Aviation (Carriers Liability) Act 1959 (Cth).

He travels extensively between the Firm’s Queensland and Victoria offices, assisting and guiding the lawyers on a range of issues.

When not working as a lawyer, Victor is a successful businessman and entrepreneur and before being admitted, had an extensive background as a litigation funder spanning 20 years. During that time, he was involved in litigation in the specific areas of banking and finance, credit reporting, contract disputes, partnership disputes, medical negligence, defamation, and insolvency.

Victor has worked in a very broad range of industries including: land development, building and construction, health and medical, transport and shipping, film, television and radio, sports, agriculture and farming, banking and finance, aviation, defence, restaurants, pubs and clubs, associations and charities, mining, manufacturing, distribution, automotive and marine.

Victor will always make himself available for everyone and is constantly gaining further knowledge and education in all areas of law and ensures he passes on and teaches all team members within Kingsford Lawyers. He worked extensively with Gordon Ritter QC who he considers to be his mentor until he recently retired.
